ANC Limpopo disapproves of Magashule visit
Updated | By Gaopalelwe Phalaetsile
Tension remains in the African National Congress (ANC) as it prepares for its 110 birthday celebrations on Saturday in Limpopo

An ANC ward in Musina had planned to host the party’s suspended secretary-general Ace Magashule on Friday.
However, in a letter sent by the Regional Secretary, Rudzani Lubere, the province has communicated its disapproval of the visit.
Magashule was suspended by the ANC and cut off from all party activities pending a criminal investigation.
This is part of the ANC’s step-aside rule.
In September last year, Magashule’s lost his application for leave to appeal the party’s decision to suspend him.
The High Court in Gauteng had handed down a judgment earlier in the year dismissing his application to have the party’s decision declared unconstitutional.
