WATCH: Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels takes to TV with ‘Omgee-Engele’
Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels on Breakfast with Martin Bester will soon be taking to TV with Omgee-Engele.
The show will be sharing inspirational stories of ordinary South Africans stepping up to help where help is needed most, every Wednesday from 9 September at 18:00 on Via, DStv channel 147.
Martin Bester and Dianne Broodryk will be hosting the show. They have been sharing gripping and deeply moving stories on Jacaranda FM of how individuals and companies answer the call from Good Morning Angels every Wednesday morning, reaching out to those in need – with anything from life-saving operations, COVID-19 relief efforts, welfare projects, and developing promising young talent to saving Africa’s wildlife.

Good Morning Angels has been a massively popular on-air feature on Jacaranda FM for over 15 years. Its highlights include giving 67 kids life-saving heart operations on Mandela Day 2019, saving five lion cubs from certain death in Ukraine, raising R350,000 in a single evening for those in desperate need during lockdown with the #GMABenefitConcert, and, most recently, helping the station’s DJ Jazzy D to feed more than 90,000 people on Mandela Day 2020.
This popular feature assisted 60 different communities, causes, and individuals with more than R13-million in 2019 – a tally that has grown in leaps and bounds in 2020, showing the massive, positive impact that South Africans have on the lives of others when they take the time to stop… and care.

'Omgee-Engele' is produced by Jacaranda FM’s very own Rozanne McKenzie, who has been making massive waves in the media space as a presenter and is now taking the next step into television production.
