WATCH: Boity and Cassper are NOT engaged
Updated | By MornéJK jk
Okay, there goes the day's BIG story.
It turns out, Cassper and Boity are not actually engaged! Yeah, we reported on the engagement earlier on Thursday morning after we spotted the couple on the cover of Drum magazine, which carries the headline: "Cassper pops the question and Boity says yes... 'This is it for us'."

That had us running around with excitement. However, Boity has cleared the air. Speaking to Bonang on Metro FM, she said: "Now this is weird... Cassper came on to set while I was shooting... he came with flowers and surprised me, it was very sweet. He asked me to be his GIRLFRIEND, not his wife, guys."
Ayo, @casspernyovest ...outchea #MeekMilling 😂😂😂😍😍💋💋 #itsLegit

Boity said Drum magazine made it seem like they're engaged. We also think that Drum misled the public with that headline. Yes, we shouldn't have jumped to conclusions, but hey, the whole country thought the same thing - and there aren't many other ways to interpret their headline.
Boity told Bonang: "It's fine, actually, because one of the things we spoke about in the article was the fact that one of the main things we wanna do is get married. So it's fine. It's okay for people to assume and insinuate that becasue it's gonna happen anyway."
Also, Cassper and Boity should have at least explained the true story to their fans on social media, instead of retweeting the cover and talking about how much they love each other. They should have denied the engagement rumours then and there. Publicity stunt?
