Vanilla Ice completes community service

Vanilla Ice has had a grand theft and burglary case struck from his record after successfully completing 100 hours of community service.
The 48-year-old rapper was arrested last February for reportedly stealing a pool heater, bicycle, furniture and other items from a residence adjacent to a Florida home he was renovating for his 'The Vanilla Ice Project' DIY show but has now had the felony charges of burglary and grand theft struck from his record after abiding by the terms of deal reached by his lawyer.
Attorney Bradford Cohen agreed a deal with the State of Florida in April that stated the case would be wiped clean if the 'Ice Ice Baby' hitmaker completed the 100 hours of community service and stayed out of trouble for nine months.
And, according to TMZ, the rapper stuck to the agreement and put in the required hours while working with Habitat for Humanity, an organisation which helps the poorest and most vulnerable people lift themselves out of poverty by supporting them to build their homes and communities.
The rapper - whose real name is Robert Van Winkle - previously admitted he "got in a little bit of a mess" and hoped to put the situation behind him.
He said: "I'm doing alright. Got in a little bit of a mess, but we'll get through it.
"Yesterday's history, tomorrow's a mystery."
