"Super rare" disease left Ashton Kutcher unable to see and walk
Actor Ashton Kutcher lost his sight, ability to walk, and hearing due to a rare disease.
Actor Ashton Kutcher recently spoke out about battling a rare disease called Rare Vasculitis Episode.

Kutcher lost his sight, ability to walk, and hearing for more than a year due to the rare disease.
In a recent interview with adventurer Bear Grylls, Kutcher opened up about battling the disease.

"I had this weird, super-rare form of vasculitis. It knocked out my vision, knocked out my hearing, knocked out like all my equilibrium. It took me like a year to like build it all back."
According to Harvard Health, vasculitis is caused by inflammation of the blood vessels. The inflammation can damage the lining of the vessel and sometimes reduce blood flow or completely block it.
