Robin Williams' home sells for $18m
Robin Williams' Napa Valley estate has sold for $18.1 million four years after it went on the market for $35 million.
The late star initially put the property up for sale for $35 million in 2012 but when it didn't sell the 'Mrs. Doubtfire' actor relisted it for $29.9 million in April 2014 - just months before he committed suicide in August 2014 aged 63.
The 650-acre estate's price was cut a few more times and the final last listing price was set at $22.9 million, but the new owners look to have got a great deal as they are reported to have paid just over $18 million for the plush property.
Whether the successful buyers have got a bargain or not, they certainly have plenty of features in their new five-bedroom property in California.
There are six full bathrooms in the main house but if you fancy a change of scenery you could always head outside to the four-bedroom guest house for a nap.
Other stunning features include a bell tower, a 12-seat home theatre, lifts to all three floors and a study, where Robin used to read and relax.
According to William Densberger of Pacific Union, who represented the new owners of the "ranch" - which is reportedly what Robin called the place - the buyers are planning to make wine on the property's 18.4 acres of vineyards, The Wall Street Journal reports.
