Rebecca Malope's life story heading to theatre
Rebecca Malope is set to play herself in a play debuting in December.
You know you are super famous when your life is turned into a theatre production.
The production, which is titled Angingedwa - This is My Story, is produced by Rebecca, and Artistry Talent Management.
The gospel singer will be playing herself in the play, as she feels she is best suited to tell her own story.
She is, however, expected to travel around South Africa to find someone to play the younger version of herself.
The musical will make its debut in December at Carnival City.

Rebecca has had a lot of ups and downs in her career and personal life, and her story is sure to compel audiences.
The star is also celebrating being named an ambassador for Ariel washing powder.
"Looking at my trials and tribulations, who knew I'd be the face of one of the biggest brands? This is a testimony that in life you never give up. People must always be positive and believe in themselves," she told Sowetan Live.
