Pope Francis receives a personalised foosball table

Pope Francis has received a few memorable football gifts in his eight-year pontificate, but one recent gift is one to remember.
The Pope received a personalised foosball table designed to be all-inclusive for people with disabilities. The gift aims to encourage people with disabilities to participate in sport.

The gift was given to the Pope by a Tuscany-based table football association.
In a Facebook post, the Tuscany association elaborated on the gift, stating that the table was designed to be inclusive and work well for people with physical disabilities.

Pope Francis, born in Argentina, is known for loving football and has always promoted sport as a means of solidarity and inclusion, especially amongst young adults.
