The model and surfer, Roxy Loux - eldest daughter of rugby legend, Rob Louw and her boyfriend, Sam Barton got engaged in early September 2018 in New Zealand. The wedding is scheduled for February 2020.

Graeme Smith, the former Protea captain will be walking down the aisle once again. Smith quietly got engaged to Romy Lanfranchi at the end of October. He shared the news on his Twitter and Instagram pages sharing a pic of the couple - with Lanfranchi showcasing her new engagement ring.

Ek het nuus. Ek kon nooit verstaan wat dit is om n lig vir die wêreld te wees soos wat Jesus van gepraat het nie. Ek het my bes probeer om wat my hart so diep gesoek het te verwerp en te begrawe want dis mos “donker” om anders te wees. Ek het dit gedoen sodat my lig as n goeie “Christen” kan skyn vir die wêreld. So het ek die lewe en liefde prys gegee soos wat vir ons vertel en verwag word ons moet doen. My valse lig het in n kas geskyn. So aanbid ek die wêreld deur te vrees wat mense aan die ander kant van die kasdeure gaan voel, dink en sê. Ek het myself in dié kas gesit want ek was skaam vir myself en wat van my kan word as mense weet. Toe ek besef ek aanbid wat ek vrees toe verstaan ek wat dit beteken om God te vrees beter as ooit. Mens kan nie twee meesters hê nie. Ek het die kas deure stadig begin oopmaak n paar jaar terug in daai ontnugtering, want eks liewer vir God as die wêreld. Ek het een geword met myself deur hierdie diep soeke vir God se antwoorde op die moeilike vrae. Die lig het uiteindelik begin skyn toe ek een word met myself en die deure begin oopgaan en antwoorde duideliker begin word. Die lig het alles verander. Die beste deel van die nuwe lig is dit het n geskenk van God na my toe gelok en die Here het my gewys hoe lief Hy my het deur hierdie geskenk vir my te gee. Die 15de Desember het ek hierdie geskenk @ziechfried_v_paul na amper 3 jaar gelukkig saam gevra om myne te wees vir ewig. Hy het ja gesê.
