One of the most shocking revelations was that Anderson tried to kill her abuser when she was a child.
Pamela Anderson is taking control of her narrative. Anderson is telling her story in the brand-new Netflix documentary, 'Pamela, A Love Story'.
In the 1990s, Pamela Anderson became the world’s most talked about sex icon and actress. The beautiful blonde bombshell was always photographed and asked about her body.
"I always hoped that I would do something that would interest people and that they would stop focusing on my body."
Anderson explained that she had found it difficult to break free from being this sexualised object popularised by the media.
Anderson also exposed her painful past.
The star recalls her babysitter sexually abusing her when she was a child.
"It was like two or three years of abuse. She would ask me not to say anything."
She talks about trying to kill her abuser in a desperate move, for fear of her molesting her brother. "The little girl tried to stab her in the heart with a pen. Then, I told her I wanted her to die, and she died in a car accident the next day."
Another harrowing moment in the documentary is when she recalls being raped by a 25-year-old man when she was 12.
Anderson also spoke out about her infamous sex tape. She once again said that she never sold the tape and that it was stolen. Anderson also said that she "didn’t make a dime off it".
Anderson said that people, especially the media, never believed them because they thought she and her ex-husband, Tommy Lee, wanted to boost their careers and popularity.
Anderson is currently living in Ladysmith, Canada with her two sons, Brandon Thomas Lee (26) and Dylan Jagger Lee (25).
