'Met Eish' actor Neels van Jaarsveld confirms split from wife
The local actor has confirmed the news of his divorce from wife, Jeanne.
Neels van Jaarsveld shared the sad news in an emotional Facebook post, stating that the couple had grown apart.

Van Jaarsveld was recently seen on KykNET's law drama, 'Fynskrif'. Van Jaarsveld become a household name after starring in a variety of local TV shows such as 'Binnelanders', 'Backstage', and the ever-popular 'Met Eish' advert.
"It is with great sadness that I wish to report that my wife & I have parted ways. We have gradually grown apart but remain close friends & wish each other all the best for the future," the actor wrote on his Facebook page.
This split comes a year-and-a-half after the couple got married in Witsand on 29 April 2017.
The actor further added that no further comment will be given and has asked everyone to respect their privacy in the matter.
