Congratulations to the brand new Miss Universe 2023!
Just three months ago, Tshwane local Natasha Joubert received the Miss South Africa 2023 crown.
While very deserving, it meant she could not compete in Miss Universe 2023 after competing in the previous year.
Instead, the incredible runner-up Bryoni Govender took to the stage and represented South Africa.
Govender made it to the Top 20 of the beauty pageant.
This year's pageant took place in El Salvador on the 19 November.
Miss Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacios, was crowned Miss Universe 2023!
Palacios, 23, is the first Nicaraguan woman to win Miss Universe.
