Harrison Ford is proud to be part of Star Wars

Harrison Ford said he felt "so blessed" to have been a part of the 'Star Wars' franchise as he introduced a preview of the new Star Wars Experience attraction.
The 73-year-old actor - who plays Han Solo in the sci-fi saga - was joined by roly-poly droid BB-8 at the 'Disneyland 60' TV special at the weekend, where they introduced the forthcoming Star Wars Experience, which is opening at both Disneyland, California and Disney World in Florida.
According to 'Entertainment Weekly', Harrison said: "'Star Wars' is, for lack of a better word ... awesome.
"I'm so blessed that I had the opportunity to be a part of it. To walk in these iconic locations.
"And soon, you'll be able to do that as well. Not in a galaxy far, far away, but in a place close to home."
The telecast showed new concept art for the attractions -- including a virtual reality ride that allows visitors to control the Millennium Falcon in an aerial battle with the First Order -- before an orchestra performed the scores from the movie series.
And the Star Wars Experience will also include encounters with aliens and droids, as well as vendors selling themed snacks from the movie world.
Construction has already begun at both theme parks, but there isn't yet an opening date for either Star Wars Experience.
