Anthony Anderson's wife Alvina Stewart files for divorce for the second time
The news of the divorce comes after more than twenty years of marriage.
Actor Anthony Anderson and his wife Alvina Stewart are reportedly going their separate ways.
The couple tied the knot 22 years ago in 1999, after meeting as college students at Howard University.
But, their marriage has not always been smooth and they have now decided to call it quits.

According to several media publications, Alvina filed for divorce on Friday, 25 March. The couple is splitting due to 'irreconcilable differences' as stated by Alvina in the court papers.
E! Online reports that in the court documents, Alvina said that she wants spousal support and her attorney fees to be paid by Anthony.
According to the publication, she also asked that their accumulated assets and property be divided at a later time.
This is not the first time that Alvina has filed for divorce. The 'Black-ish' star's wife filed for divorce in 2015, but the couple later reconciled in 2017.
The couple is blessed with two children - Kyra, 26, and Nathan, 22.
