Watch: The Parlotones Orchestrated live on MBD Unplugged
The Parlotones perform a special orchestrated version of their hit "I'll be there" on #MBDUnplugged ahead of their orchestrated shows in Joburg and Mbombela in partnership with Jacaranda FM.
Coinciding with 3 Decades of Jacaranda FM, ‘The Parlotones Orchestrated.’ will see the band take their hits to venues across the country together with a chamber ensemble which has been arranged and will be conducted by composer and acclaimed musician, Brendan Jury.
By incorporating the chamber ensemble, The Parlotones hope to display contemporary yet classical versions of their extensive discography whilst still treating fans to everything they have grown to love about the Parlotones in a welcoming and energetic offering.
Catch The Parlotones live at The Teatro at Montecasino, Johannesburg on the 22nd of April.
About Brendan Jury
Composer and acclaimed musician, Brendan Jury, creates unique and authentic audio solutions for the advertising, television, film and music industry. Brendan has also worked with American broadcast/commercial music house, Q Department in New York, (hailed by Boards Magazine as one of the top 4 commercial/broadcast music houses in the USA), as one of their preferred composers. Highlights include being the Producer for Arno Carstens 4th Solo Album as well as composing and conducting a 21-piece orchestra to accompany Black Coffee's live performance, Africa Rising.
