The singer from Centurion is rocking Die Kontrak and his duet with mentor Dewald Wasserfall is a must-watch!
Ivan Roux, 28, from Pretoria is no stranger to the stage. In fact, the former salon owner had been wowing audiences for a while before making a name for himself nationally on VIA TV's, 'Die Kontrak'.

The competition is currently in the top three stage with Roux, Demi-Lee Moore, and Deidré Barnard being picked from about 2,000 online auditions after a countrywide talent search.
Roux, who is a favourite to win the competition, is a firm believer in using one's God-given talent. "My musical talents are a gift from God. Previously I just wanted to entertain, but one day I realised that the Lord wanted to use me through my music. This is why He gave me this talent, to tell a story. If I can achieve that - I would be extremely happy," Roux said.
And what about his musical inspirations?
His mentor, Dewald Wasserfall, of course! Roux also cites 'Skepe' hitmaker, Jo Black, and Tarryn Lamb as local artists he looks up to.
In last week's episode, Roux shared the stage with his mentor Dewald and the two rocked Tom Petty's 'Free Falling' - watch it here:
The winner of VIA TV's 'Die Kontrak' will be announced on 23 November during 'Afrikaans is Groot 2018' at the Sun Arena in Pretoria and will be awarded a recording contract with Coleske Artists to the value of R1-million.
