Singer stuns the country on 'The Voice SA' stage
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Siki Jo-An Owazi blew everyone away with her blind audition during 'The Voice SA' season three.
She did an incredible cover of Miriam Makeba’s 1960’s ‘The Click Song’.
Siki Jo-An revealed after her blind audition performance that she took a big risk with her song choice, but it definitely paid off because all four judges turned their chairs in a matter of seconds!
Coaches Francois van Coke, Lira, Riana Nel, and Riky Rik were stunned at her performance:
Siki explains she feels good even though she doesn’t remember what happened on stage.
“I’m always in the moment when I perform. It was beautiful and I can’t even explain how to feel. The stage is intimidating though. The song choice was very risky. It’s an anthem for many and it brings back memories Miriam Makeba is an icon."
