Riky Rick's final note to his family, funeral details
The musician apologised to his family and opened up about what led to his decision to end his life.
South African singer, Riky Rick, real name Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, will be laid to rest on Tuesday, 1 March.
The intimate funeral service will be attended by close family members. It will take place in Johannesburg from 10:00. Streaming will be made available.
A memorial service for the 'Boss Zonke' hitmaker will be held on Friday, 4th March 2022 from 10:00 until 14:00.

Final note to family
Riky reportedly left two suicide notes before taking his life.
The star asked his wife, Bianca Naidoo, not to blame herself.
“Dear Bianca, this pain is too much. I don’t want you to blame yourself for my life being unbearable," he wrote.
He went on to detail how he enjoyed being married to Bianca and asked her not to give up like he did, but live her life.
"This was the greatest period of my life. You gave me more love than I deserved. Please do not blame yourself. Live your life. Don’t hide the light you gave me every day.”

He said he decided to end his life because he was going through immense pain that he couldn't handle anymore.
“I’m sorry for being the one who gives up but the pain I feel is too much to deal with. The voices in my head have never gone away. I wish I was stronger but I’m not. Please forgive me. I love you so much. Be Happy. Smile. Everything is okay now,” reads the note.
