Afrikaans singer-songwriter Refentse Morake addresses gender-based abuse in his latest music video for 'Reisiger'.

With Domestic Violence Awareness Month starting in October, the singer aims to place a spotlight on an issue that many South African women, children and families face.
The video features popular actors Christia Visser and Zak Hendrikz. Their relationship starts out passionately, but then spirals out of control as a result of Hendrikz' character's alcohol addiction. Throughout the rest of the video, Visser's character is seen being physically abused.
