Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas' tops Billboard Hot 100

Mariah Carey owns the Festive Season once again!
The spirit of Christmas has finally kicked in!
With just a few days left, Christmas songs are dominating the airwaves.
Mariah Carey's song 'All I Want For Christmas' is still a favourite for many.
The classic is currently at #1 on Billboard Hot 100.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the song has taken the #1 spot on the charts.
The first time the song hit the Hot 100’s top 10 was in December 2017.

The modern carol logs its ninth total week atop the Hot 100 and becomes the first song to have led in four distinct runs on the ranking- Billboard website
The classic is also topping the UK charts. For the second time since 2020 it has reached the top.
A report on 9 December by Official Charts states that the song had 10.8-million streams over the past seven days.
Mariah Carey celebrated the news on her Twitter.
'Jumping up and down in front of the Christmas tree with the kids and the dogs. Blasting "All I Want For Christmas Is You", and sending virtual hugs to everyone across the pond who helped make it happen! Love you so much!!!,' she responded to the Official Charts announcement.

Throughout the years, it has been topping charts.
Last year, it earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Greatest of All Time Holiday 100 Songs.
It also holds the following Guinness World Records:

- The most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours.
- The most weeks in the UK singles Top 10 chart for a Christmas song.
