Karlien furious about 'Wil jy vry' music video that features underage kids

The music video features a group of young boys and girls in a toy store.
Afrikaans singer Karlien van Jaarsveld distanced herself from Precision Music who used one of her songs in a music video without her consent.

According to Karlien's instagram post, the song 'Wil jy vry' was recorded as part of her 2010 debut album, 'As die gordyn val'. The album was later repackaged with the title 'Jakkals trou met wolf se vrou'.
The singer further states the the song 'Wil jy vry' was specifically removed because she and her team felt that it didn't represent herself and the brand she was building. Precision Music recently made a music video, in which young boys and girls play the characters in the song. Watch it here.
The 'Rooilipsoene' singer has expressed her anger and disgust with this music video, asking what innocent and underage children has to do with a song with such a title and subject matter.

Many of van Jaarsveld's supporters commented on this post with messages of support and agreeing with the singer, that the music video is inappropriate as it uses underage children.
The latest official music video Karlien released was, 'Rooilipsoene'. The video features her husband, Joe Breytenbach and actress Simone Nortman.
