Taking to Twitter on Tuesday Jack Parow shared an image that juxtaposed the Jonas brothers to his Parow brandy.

Next to the photo of the boy band The Jonas Brothers was the word “moffies” (an offensive Afrikaans slur used to describe gay men) and next to the brandy the words “die manne” (the men).
Parow received a massive amount of backlash on social media, many calling for his sponsors to comment on the rapper's post.
Interesting to read the reaction to @JackParow’s tweet.

People say it’s just a word. Problem is young boys get bullied with this word. They commit suicide because of it.
It’s funny to him but it creates so much more hate in a sensitive world.

@PUMASouthAfrica @MonsterGaming @PlayStation_SA would love a comment from all 3 of you regarding @JackParow and his ignorant post. Which of you 3 are ‘manne’ enough to step to the plate? I dare you...#jackparow #NoTimeForIgnorance pic.twitter.com/2qeJsMG2bC

So disappointing Jack Parow @JackParow that you would use prejudice against homosexual people to promote your alcohol brand (then delete the tweet and go silent). It can miss me. #JackParow pic.twitter.com/8G98ok97Rl

Parow has since released a statement regarding the post. "I would like to sincerely apologise for yesterday’s post on social media," he wrote on his Facebook page.
The 'My Koningkryk' hitmaker said that the highly offensive post was created and posted by his social media manager.
He added: "My management is busy dealing with the social team accordingly. This does not mean to say that I am trying to shift blame. I take full responsibility for it and I am truly truly sorry. I do not condone hate speech or homophobic slurs in any way and it truly makes me sad that it now looks like that.
