Presenters share must-try recipes for Christmas

Not sure what to cook for Christmas? These recipes from our presenters will make a great Christmas lunch for the entire family.
Christmas is around the corner.
One of the biggest things about celebrating Christmas is having good food to enjoy with your loved ones.
If you are stuck on ideas of what to prepare, don’t fret.
Our presenters have shared their favourite meals with us and how to prepare them.
The good thing is that these meals can be made for the entire family or you can even enjoy them solo.

Let’s have a look at the recipes.
Danny Painter
For Danny Painter, nothing beats having Yorkies (Yorkshire puddings) on Christmas day.
The ‘Love Songs With Danny Painter’ presenter says she enjoys them with lots of gravy.
She also has her own recipe.
“They are my award winning yorkies. I make them from scratch”.
She even says they are ”better than anyone’s mom’s. LOL.”

Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp
Turkey is a favourite for most families around Christmas time. Elana says she loves making it with butter.
“It’s a win and it’s easy,” says the mother of two.
Below is a recipe you can follow to make turkey this Christmas.
Mack Rapapali
For this Christmas, Mack says his bacon Brussels sprout dish will do.
“I wouldn't mind a good butter chicken but I prefer quick meals and that's because single life has taught me a lot. So, a good bacon Brussels sprout dish would do and it only takes 10min to prepare,” the Mack Rapapali Nights presenter says.

For the recipe, you will need:
- 24 Brussels sprouts kosher
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ cup or 12 Sliced bacon (preferably Eskort product)
- 2 Tablespoon maple syrup
- Pinch of brown sugar
- Pinch of cayenne pepper.
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 400° and line a large baking sheet with foil.
- Trim the ends of Brussels sprouts and remove any tough outer leaves.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar and cayenne.
- Cut bacon in half crosswise, then brush bacon with syrup mixture.
- Wrap a slice of bacon around each brussels sprout, placing the brussels sprout seam side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of them again with the syrup mixture.
- Bake until the bacon is crispy and the Brussels sprouts are crispy, about 20 minutes.
“Serve warm, enjoy and drink some water. :-),” says the presenter.
