One would think that a fancy and expensive wedding gown is exactly what everybody thinks of first. But turns out brides are bringing change to their wedding day planning, especially where the dress is concerned.

Jillian Lynch is a young bride who decided to go thrifting for her wedding gown and she shared a video to reveal that she spent R60 on it. Well, it seems expensive wedding dresses are nearing extinction…
The bride did, however, pay to get the dress tailored so it could fit her, which cost around R1,763, and she was happy to find that the dress still had tags on it.

Once her post was out on TikTok, she got showered with complements commending her smart moves as most brides would think bridal shops first - and end up paying tons and tons of money.
