Social experiment: Effects of abuse can last a lifetime
Updated | By Kriya Gangiah
It's scary to know the #JacaFamily could have gone through an abusive relationship without us ever knowing.
At Jacaranda FM HQ we performed a social experiment with a few of our presenters to see if any of them have experienced abuse even if it is in the early stages.
Unfortunately, abuse is more than physical. Partners can use emotional abuse to control relationships. As Tumi Morake says in the video: "You don't need to have a bruise to be abused."
We joined forces with 1st for Women because when we come together to give support, we can make a bigger difference and change more lives.
Let's walk together - For women, for our mothers, our sisters, our daughters, our friends, our loved ones, for you at this year's 1st for Women Sisters With Blisters walk with Jacaranda FM.
