On 'Love Your Pet Day' we get to pamper our pets and show them lots of love. It's a special day to celebrate the love and joy these loyal companions bring to our lives.

Whether you choose to spoil them with a treat, like Martin who fed his chickens cheese this morning, or be it with a pet massage, a fun-filled day at the park or giving them extra attention, just make sure you make this day a memorable one.

Below, our presenters share what makes their furry friends so special to them:

Kriya Gangiah

"My partner in crime, my best friend and my favourite face to see when I get home. Zara is 5 years old and changed my life the moment I saw her face.  Just like me she loves to travel and is always the first to jump into the car to go on an adventure even if it's just a trip down the road to get ice cream."

Catch Kriya Gangiah's show Saturdays from 10:00 - 12:00.

Danny Painter

"This is Biscuit. She's the ruler of my house. She's 9 and she rules everyone including the cat with an iron fist. The collie is Stitch, my baby. He's 11 years old and he's From Stoke in the UK, I moved him home with me. He obviously has an accent and is super smart, he helps with groceries, speaks and can identify objects. He's my whole world and my best friend. The Bassett is Churchill (like Winston) and he's my shadow, he's old and needy and is the family pain. But we love him."

"We adopted Frank from a local vet 2 weeks ago, after someone had found him by the roadside & handed him in at the vet.  He’s still getting to know our much older cat, Kermit, but I’m sure they’ll be friends before we know it. For now, he’s an absolute poser & there seems to be no end to his playfulness!"
