#FearlessWoman: Dr. Rolene Struass personifies 'beauty with a purpose'
Rolene's balanced lifestyle and interests in health, education, business and charity has aided her in becoming a #FearlessWoman.
Dr Rolene Strauss says her passion for health, women and education is the cornerstone of her purpose in life.
The beauty queen, who graduated in 2017 as a medical doctor from the University of the Free State with an MBChB degree, has been able to indulge her passion for helping heal the sick because of her dedication and devotion to the study of medicine.
She is the epitome of "beauty with a purpose". After being crowned, Strauss took a break from her studies for two years to fulfil her duties as Miss South Africa 2014 and then as Miss World 2014.
Strauss has been involved in a variety of social and charitable projects, one of the projects she is particularly excited about is a holistic women’s health practice, REVITAHEALTH that was launched in April 2018 with her sister-in-law, Dr Ledivia Strauss.
RevitaHealth, based in the rejuvenating Cape Winelands, is a health orientated organisation with aesthetic, integrative, anti-ageing and regenerative medical services.

Strauss is also chair of The Strauss Foundation, a Non-Profit Entity with the aim to be a positive contributor in society through the promotion of Health, Education and Charity. It aims to unlock inherent abilities of as many individuals as possible.
Raised in the small town of Volksrust in Mpumalanga, Rolene stays true to her roots. Family is an integral part of Rolene’s life, she married D'Niel Strauss in February 2016, gave birth to their son in January 2017.
Strauss is a speaker alongside a team of SA’s most fearless and successful women - Letshego Zulu, Zelda le Grange, and Amy Kleinhans-Curd. These ladies will be joining women from all walks of life for the Jacaranda FM and Chela-Fer Women’s Breakfast in Pretoria on 8 November 2018.
