Mark Owen Evans, a father from the United Kingdom, has tattooed his seven-year-old daughter’s name, Lucy, on himself more than 600 times.
There is a special bond that exists between a father and daughter.
In fact, a man once said: "The smile of a daughter is the secret purpose of every father.”
Another famous quote says: "There is this girl who stole my heart and she calls me daddy.”
Mark Owen Evans, a father from the United Kingdom, can relate to such words. The 49-year-old loves his seven-year-old so much that he got her name tattooed on himself more than 600 times.

The dad broke the Guinness World Record for having the most tattoos of the same name on the body.
“I was approaching 40 when I decided I wanted to leave a legacy, something to write on my gravestone when I’m gone. That’s when I had my lightbulb moment: I was going to become a record-breaker," he told The Sun.
“Lots of people get their children’s names tattooed somewhere on their body in tribute to their little ones, but I decided to go one step further,” he added.
“I did my research and discovered that the record for the most tattoos of the same name on the body was 29. I was going to smash it!”.

He then decided to get tattoos designed as a book with her daughter's names.
“It took me a couple of hours to design the tattoo - a book to signify the Guinness Book of World Records containing Lucy’s name,” he told the publication.
This is not the first time the father broke the record. In 2017 he had 267 ‘Lucy’ tattoos on his back, but in 2020, Diedra Vigil from the USA took over the record by having her own name tattooed on her body 300 times.
Mark was determined to reclaim his title so he got more tattoos of his daughter's name. The new tattoos are on his back and thighs.
“I couldn’t wait to claim the record back and dedicate this to my daughter,” Mark told The Sun.
It took two tattoo artists to help him achieve his dream.
“It felt weird - because there were two tattooists doing it at the same time, the pain was kind of cancelled out,” Mark told The Sun.
"I love that I’m literally wearing my record and it goes everywhere with me,” he added.
