Enhle Mbali talks about forgiving herself
"Forgive everyone including yourself."
Forgiveness is a very personal issue.
Sometimes it takes time to get to the point where one is prepared to let go of all the pain and suffering caused by someone else.
However, the challenging part with holding on to hurt is that sometimes you suffer more than the person who has wronged you.
Being unable to forgive steals your joy and peace and can in some instances lead to sickness. Research Gate says unforgiveness has been found to cause anxiety, depression, hostility, and heart diseases in some people.
This is why forgiveness is crucial.

Enhle Mbali has taken to Instagram to talk about the importance of not only forgiving others, but yourself.
She says it starts with releasing yourself from toxic things.
"It’s important to release yourself from anything that binds your spirit and mind which ultimately binds your body," she wrote on Instagram.
The actor says regardless of people viewing forgiveness as a weakness, it actually demonstrates power.
"Forgiveness is the ultimate mark of strength," she wrote.
She went on to talk about the importance of forgiving yourself.
"Forgive everyone including yourself. Wright down every one who has made you feel as if your were wronged, everyone you have wronged including yourself ( it’s important to forgive you !!! for allowing yourself to be done wrong or not protecting yourself) . After writing this list ask for forgiveness , forgive then burn it. You have to be extremely honest with self. Do some deep introspection,"she wrote.
