Ramaphosa to visit Covid-19 facilities in KZN

President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to visit Covid-19 facilities in KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday.
This is to assess the province’s progress being made to reduce the number of coronavirus infections and deaths in one of the country’s hardest-hit provinces.
Accompanied by Premier Sihle Zikalala, the president will visit the Archie Gumede House in Mayville, then the Dr Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Memorial Hospital in KwaMashu.

"He will engage with the provincial government and stakeholders on the province's response strategies and progress being made to flatten the curve of the coronavirus pandemic," The Presidency said on Monday.
Ramaphosa is also expected to do a walkabout at the Royal Showgrounds in Pietermaritzburg which has been designated as a quarantine facility.
To date KZN has 1 106 coronavirus cases, with 35 deaths recorded.
