At least 38 South Africans are still stranded on a cruise liner in Italy, one of the countries hardest hit by COVID-19 Coronavirus.
The group has been aboard the ship since last month.
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) says it's in talks with Italian authorities to find a solution for the stranded group.
"We are communicating with the authorities in Italy," says Dirco spokesperson, Lunga Ngqengelele.

This comes after three news cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the Province. Ramathuba says the three new cases are of South African citizens from the Western Cape who traveled to several high-risk countries in Europe earlier this month.
Ngqengelele adds that there are number of South Africans at various other locations across the world held up.
"We are requesting people that have not registered with our missions abroad to do so that we can be able to assist," says Ngqengelele.
It's not yet clear if any of the 38 South Africans have tested positive for the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
