In a recent Instagram video, South African comedian Rory Petzer shared ways in which South Africans could save fuel using just a single brick.
“If you’re stressing about the petrol price, I have five things you can do with one brick that’ll help you save petrol,” he starts off in the video.
His advice goes from “placing the brick under your accelerator to reduce speed” to using a brick as a key ring.

The “advice” left many South Africa cackling, especially after it was announced that the petrol price would yet again increase.
Petzer has made waves in the South African entertainment industry.
In 2023, he won the UpLIFTing Comedic Content Award at the The Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards.
