The live-action remake of 'The Little Mermaid’ revealed its first official trailer at this year’s Oscars.
The first full look at Disney’s live-action ‘The Little Mermaid’ is here - and Disney fans are freaking out!
During the 2023 Academy Awards telecast, two of the cast members, Halle Bailey and Melissa McCarthy, entered the stage to present the film and its trailer.

In the official trailer, viewers can see a glimpse at the underwater world as well as American singer Halle Bailey’s magical transformation into Ariel.
The official trailer also teased comedian and actress Melissa McCarthy as the infamous sea witch, Ursula.
Even a glimpse of a small red crab, which one can only presume was Sebastian, voiced by Daveed Diggs, was shown.
Snippets of the movie’s most anticipated songs, such as ‘Part Of Your World’ and ‘Kiss The Girl’, also briefly appeared in the trailer.

‘The Little Mermaid’ is a live-action version of the original animated film, which was released in 1989.
The original movie secured two Oscars wins; one for Best Original Song ('Under the Sea') and another for Best Original Score.
Fans can expect ‘The Little Mermaid’ in theatres on May 26.
