WATCH: Ellis Park flyover brings back 1995 Rugby World Cup final memories

Martin Bester spoke to Joggie Zeuner, the airplane captain who flew over Ellis Park before Saturday's Test between South Africa and New Zealand.

In a thrilling Rugby Championship clash against the All Blacks, the Springboks went down 35-24.

Although the final score was not in favour of South Africa, it was still a special event for South Africans.

A FlySafair aircraft, brought back memories of the 1995 Rugby World Cup final after flying over Ellis Park on Saturday. 

The Test match bared many similarities to the 1995 Rugby World Cup final, with the plane flyover being one of them. The World Cup final was also held at Ellis Park and saw the Springboks reign victorious over the All Blacks. 

The aircraft's captain spoke to Martin Bester on Monday to share his experience of the exciting and iconic moment.
