"I'm looking forward to working with Jake White" - New Blue Bulls captain Duane Vermeulen

Blue Bulls director of rugby Jake White has appointed Duane Vermeulen as captain. Vermeulen joined the Scenic Drive to talk about his new role.
On Tuesday, South African rugby star Duane Vermeulen was announced as the new Blue Bulls captain.
The 34-year-old World Cup-winning no.8 captained the Springboks against New Zealand in Wellington last year.

Vermeulen has thanked White for showing faith in him as a leader while encouraging loyal supporters during this difficult time.

Vermeulen joined the Scenic Drive for a telephonic interview about his new role as the Blue Bulls captain.
"It's a bit difficult. I'm not sure how things will work with COVID-19. We will probably play touch rugby," he laughed.
"I have never worked with Jake White, but I'm looking forward to working with him."
