Erik Holm: A miracle which changed his life

Quadriplegic actor and musician Erik Holm joined the Scenic Drive to share his life journey.
Actor and musician, Erik Holm, who was left a paraplegic 12 years ago after he broke his neck - has resumed his public music performances all thanks to a custom-made, one-of-a-kind guitar that was specially built for him by the world-renowned guitar maker, Mervyn Davis.
This unique guitar is the first of its kind in the world and was designed to literally replace the functions of Erik’s fingers.
Holm who is well-known for his role in 'Binnelanders' as Rian Malherbe joined the Scenic Drive to share this special instrument with the team.
"I thought music was lost to me, but then, like a miracle, it came into my life and has given me back a passion I thought was gone forever."
